First game character, advice are welcome!

Hi everyone!
I've sculpted a lot during the last year, but I've never created a game-ready character (retopo, map baking, etc.). So this is gonna be a first!

My goal is to learn the whole pipeline and come up with a solid piece, so any comments/advice are welcome!

The character will be based on a creature designed by Christopher Onciu:

Keep it up, the concept is nice.

The face looks a bit more "derp" on the concept though, maybe you can do something about that.

He's a bit too wasp-waisted at the moment; in the concept the curve from chest to waist to hips is much more gradual. The seam between his thighs & pelvis is awkward; it'll probably be covered by his clothes, but still...

@Texelion: Thanks! I've worked a bit more on the face today. I'm not 100% satisfied with it yet, but I think it's already closer to the original concept. What do you think?

@DWalker: Thanks for your critique! You're right, the transition was weird. I made some modifications, I think it works better now.

@Lavitz: Thank you very much, glad you like it so far! I'll try to post updates every day, so be sure to check it out!

Update:

I made a lot of proportion modifications (the forearms weren't long enough, the neck was too short, etc.).
I also improved some muscles (the pectoral muscles were misplaced, etc.).
I made some improvements regarding the hands/fingers (but I'm not satisfied with the transition between the hand and the forearm yet).
And like I mentionned earlier, I worked on the head as well.

I need a fresh pair of eyes on this guys! Don't hesitate to offer a critique!

Looks great so far. Kick ass concept to be working from as well.
So far all I have to crit is that I feel like his elbows are sitting a little high. They should be shifted down ever so slightly so the line where his arm bends sits on top of the elbow protrusion.
You are off to a great start, keep it up.

His toes seem a bit rounder/slightly bigger? in the original concept.
But other than that its looking great.

@jstyles3d: Thank you! You're right aha, I've corrected it.

@Stinkfoot: Thanks! I made his toes slightly rounder in this update, but not as much as in the concept, otherwise the character didn't feel as planted.

Update: I've mainly worked on the back and neck muscles.

After looking at the concept, I guess you're right. IMHO... it feels a bit awkward to have such a disproportionate long length of the forearm verses the short length of the upper arm.

I think it only feels weird because the fur furry armor stuff isn't on them, I think that will give them a more popeye effect, which is inherently wrong, but would balance well if done right (like popeye).

Hey I did a quick paint over GIF to really point out what ThinkKinck may be seeing.
His arms have a more realistic shape that the concept has, but is hard to really see. I also adjusted his wrist to make his hands a little longer making him more proportionate.
