3D painting software - hardstyle

Hi guys,
I know this will be a debatable subject since it's a matter of opinion but I'd like to try texturing hard-surface objects in a 3D environment.
I was wondering out of the following list, which ones would you say are 1) The most user friendly and 2) Practically, in the sense better for hard-surface texturing in 3D?

3D Coat
Mudbox

really i just find for hardsurface stuff im better off just using photoshop, got some great brushes to work with in there, and i add a lot of details to hardsurface bakes with ndo2.

but for 3d mari

I would recommend 3DCoat. Its user friendly and have great painting tools. You also have applink which let you send your texture layers back and forth to Photoshop. I did the textures for this vehicle with 3DCoat and Photoshop.
