I came here to learn, and receive advice and comments on the work that I finally want to expose.
Use Blender to more or less about seven years, to relax, and draw things I like, but this month, the first time I have that I'm proud of, something that I finished.
I wish I could open a topic to view the video test, and receive criticism.
(It is a set for the game Dota 2)
Ive been following this forum from time to time since the dota polucount contest. A few days ago I finally decided to join this community and to give modeling a try.
I started yesterday with maya and this is how far I got (I know its lame, but I kinda feel proud of it somehow ^^). Still learning commands and how to deal with issues.
Hello folks!
I'm trying to get into the UDK-world..since one of my interests has always been game development.. but I never really had the time or given it a fair chance.. so I have now decided to at least give it a try .. but as with all new stuff.. you need help once you get stuck.. and hopefully you guys can help me and point me in the right direction once I get stuck..
I have been studying 3D-modelling and some basic animations using Maya for about 3-years.. and I'm quite familiar with Valves Hammer world editor.. but UDK seems to be way more open and awesome.. also I just got the Oculus.. so I really cant wait to do some cool stuff .
My name is Vlad, this is my first time on polycount. Christian Lichtner, the art director from Blizzard returned my call and gave me advice for about 20 minutes about how to become a better 3D modeler. It made my day and he's an awesome guy and very very helpful.
I'm interested in being a part of this forum so that I may get feedback on my 3D stuff in order to further advance my skills and hopefully, with enough work and suffering, I too may be a part of the gaming industry.
Hi people! 3D Artist here hoping to get into the video game industry. Currently cramming my head full of digital tutors character design tutorials for Maya and trying to improve my skills before i start learning Mudbox or ZBrush
Hi everyone, I'm brand new to 3D modelling and texturing and am primarily using Blender. I have prior experience building and designing parts in Solidworks but find it to be a completely different skillset.
Looking forward to contributing here and growing as an artist.
Hello Polycount! Big fan!
My name is Simon and I'm a Concept and 3D artist. Looking to improve on lots of stuff, mainly environment concepts and 3D-stuff. simonlindwall.com
I'm a newly-registered user, veering into 2D and 3D design for games from a background in front-end web design and development (and back end, when I must). My lifelong love of games goes back a long, looooong way.
I'm currently training in 2D illustration and digital painting in Photoshop, and 3D modelling, sculpting, and animation in Maya, Mudbox, etc.
Hi,
My name is Louis Roberts with Barstool Sports. My buddy is a technical director at Pixar and he told me this was a great place to reach out to other 2D and 3D artists.
