Have been away from modelling for a little while and wanted to know how I would go about creating the base topology for the handle of a gun.
on the left was my first attempt but I felt as if it wasn't getting me anywhere.
the small curve on the top of the handle is giving me problems!
What are my next stages?

Edit: If you mean the pattern on the grip, you could either add it later when texturing, or float a pattern on top of the grip itself when baking.
You can increase the polygon resolution to the area if you want , of course.
