This was done just for fun. Basic high poly made in 3DSMax,high poly taken into ZBrush for some of the fine details (speaker areas, scratches), textured in Photoshop.

Yeah I grabbed a bunch of different reference and pulled things from different ones that I liked and tried to give it a "cool factor".

I do like doing full levels but with work, family, and kids sometimes it's a lot easier for me to tackle getting a single prop done.

Here was the ZBrushed version if anyone wanted to see it. I was going to do more with it at the sculpting phase but I opted to do the rest with textures. I do like doing a basic edge wear and scratches in ZBrush though.

Great model. Just goes to show that a great prop doesn't have to be a battle axe or sci-fi gun right. My big question is how you did those holes in the back of the radio. Can you show some wires maybe??? I love this thing!
