Facial Modelling- Feedback Appreciated

I have been working on a facial modelling assignment at uni.
Here is my work flow, any opinions/feedback will be hugely appreciated it, as this will also benefit my technical report.

hey man; I had to do something similar when I was in school. In the future I would worry less about likeness, and focus on the overall form and planes of the human head. Your model seems to have four major planes, almost like a cube. Some simple reference like this might help

Also the polycount wiki is a great place for topology reference. (tons of other good stuff in there too!

Your aproaching this from more of a technical angle, which wont work. You need to learn how from an artistic standpoint first. I would try sculpting and drawing faces first memorize and break it donw into simpler shapes blahblah etc.

use orthographic reference as exactly that, reference. don't use it as a hard and fast guide. in future, the majority of your modeling should be done in the perspective viewport, as that's where you're going to see the actual 3d shape and form start to develop.

it happens quite a lot actually... that things match up well in the front/side and then in actual 3d it looks terrible. so cut out the front/side and just work in 3d.
