Here's some process for you guys -- my environment was the Atrium/Garden.

BSP blockout shot; where it all began.
    Blockout1.jpg

Just beginning on textures here. First time using SpeedTree, too; I don't think they turned out half bad.
    Block3_begintextures.jpg

Blocking in major points of destruction.
    Block5_Destro2.jpg

Last shot before the intense destruction pass.
    Block7.jpg

Playing around with the final lighting.
    Block9.jpg

    Beauty shot numero uno.

Second beauty shot -- just wanted to show off the doors a bit more since they accidentally ended up being a hero asset.

I'm Kenae Lowry from Ringling College of Art & Design, and I did the War Room for this project. The War Room really isn't its own area in the Avatar universe as it just shares a space with the throne room, so I decided to give it its space as an extension of the Fire Palace. This room takes place roughly 20 years after the original show ends. I researched Southeast Asian culture that the Fire Palace is based off of to add extra things to the environment that normally weren't in the Avatar universe, like chairs for example.

I did a paintover in photoshop to visualize the lighting better. Before paintover:
