Dome sphere hole

Im trying to make a hole in my cathedral dome sphere but having some problems to sharp it.
Is difficult to add edge loops because it adds pinchs to the sphere mesh. Any idea how can I get a clean sharp hole?
The only thing I can imagine is beveling

It won't be easy to make it smooth perfectly, but it's meant to be broken anyway.
