Hi everyone! I am a freelance 3d artist from Sweden who really love handpainted textures. Recently i started my own site where i sell handpainted textures and assets.
I will use this tread as a sketchbook so you might see my progress of the stuff i do. I would really love some feedback on the stuff i do.

I'm not much of a painter but the metal on the chest there looks like stone, try making the speculars and edges sharper and the shadows deeper, more contrast, more reflective; ref
Hope that helps. Keep at it - I love the hand painted look
Thanks alot man. Will think about that in the future. When you say some flats you mean uvmap? or textures?
Thanks alot man, always great to hear. I am going on vacation tomorrow so i will be away for a week. After that i will start making more stuff ! , stay tuned.
The flat texture, assuming you paint on the flats in Photoshop or a painting program rather than mudbox or similar?
Just to get an idea of what you're working with in terms of resolution and unwrap really.
I only paint them in Photoshop. I would love to try out Zbrush and make tilable textures in there. It would take away alot of problems with angles for sure!
But then again i am still learning so maybe its better to just keep practising
Thanks alot for the kindwords, more comming up soon!
