Looking to record Kismet

I'm looking for a little bit of help here. I'm currently putting the finishing touches on my level design demo reel, and I'm looking to record my kismet highlighting its nodes in sequence. I've tried using fraps, which is the only program I can think to use, but instead of it recording one solid video, it's broken it up in milisecond clips.
I finally found a program that could compile all of these clips (this was difficult because most programs won't except clips that are smaller than a milisecond), but instead of it being a fluid video, it stuttered. It turns out that the clips were never actually connected.
I would apprecitate any advice on this topic. If anyone has ever recorded their kismet window, I would really love to hear from you.
