Anyone have the Phsysique2Skin Plugin for Max 7 saved somewhere?
Sorry for having an old version of Max, but I really can't justify cost of upgrading the program and for the most part the Max 7 that I've been using for years still covers all my needs.
I was told that Skin moves better than Physique so I wanted to give it a try and was hoping to find the Physique2Skin plugin so that I wouldn't have to start skinning everything from scratch when I'm doing projects similar to things I've already done.
Unfortunately... I can't find it anywhere now. All links to where the plugin used to be hosted are now dead. I found one for max 9 and 10, but that wouldn't work for 7 would it? Guess i could give it a try while I'm waiting for this message to get out there and get answers.
Any help would be appreciated.
Also apologize for the fact that I'm fully self taught, so I'm not very knowledgeable about a lot of the technical aspects of modeling. I've been creating clothing meshes for IMVU for 3 years and I haven't been very adventurous in exploring other aspects of max.

Juan "Monster" Martinez wrote it and its available on his old blog. There might have been some forward compatibility issues with newer version of max not working with it, but I think I remember him updating it... Either way that's probably a good place to look also.
PS: Google likes it if you spell it "Physique 2 Skin" instead of "Phsysique2skin"
PPS: There might be something like, or an update on scriptspot.com so hit there also.
I've searched several different ways but everywhere that I find links for it, the links are dead.
Tried scriptspot after you mentioned it and no luck there either.

Would the skinwrap trick work with physique? Copy the mesh, skinwrap it and covert it to skin. I'm not in front of max right now otherwise I would try it. Something tells me it won't work which is why the scripts exist... heh.

Don't know about any of those tricks Mark... No one mentioned them to me. I tried fiddling around with a few things but never had any luck.
monster, your script said it was for max 9 and up, so I assumed you meant it hehe. I only have max 7 so I kept looking around.
