Hi all,
I have this tilable texture which i made in 3ds max 2012. Everything works perfect and seamless. Until I rotate my texture_plane 45 degrees. I also tried rotating my brick layout. But nothing seems to work. How is this possible same file I only rotate the RTT_plane and the tiling doesn't work any more?. I tried both mental ray and default scanline render.

I have tested the brick layout in max and tiles perfect.
that's why the normal version works perfect, but going 45 degrees not!!

Would using texture coordinate also be good solution? in UDK.
Do you really need to have your tiling 45 degrees?

Have you checked that your image is cropped in Photoshop? There might be extra image information outside of the visible area.

Edit - hmm thinking a bit more, why don't you just rotate the image 45 degrees in UDK rather than Photoshop?

    Hi Liam,

That's exactly what I was thinking of. Rotating the material in UDK with the texture coordinate node. I stil find it strange that it works perfectly in the 90 degree state, but when have the bricks 45 degree it doesn't tile anymore. Could I send you the file? Perhaps I over looked something.
