but yeah on the whole there isnt much for rendering out in maya, not that I can find anyway! I am probably just going to learn how to do it in Max tbh!
Tons of stuff for Max there, which can be applied to Maya, but there's even a Maya-specific tut, too.

I gave it a go just a quicky and this is what I got!
The render looks good! I know it was quick but a darker background would probably help I think.
