Getting some strange normal artifacts?

I'm very new to this process, but I am baking the high poly to the low poly and getting some strange artifacts in the normals. I split the geo to mirror the the two side, but reversing the split only seems to worsen the situation. :poly127:

I believe when baking normals you generally need to split up your UV islands by smoothing groups and leave some room for padding between then. Also check the smoothing groups on your low poly?

select the edge tringangulate, and turn triangulation function on the mesh....

My low poly mesh is entirely smooth. Is that a problem?
