  Thanks Vincent, I had no idea how to do that ^^
  
  The objects you place will be an instance of the source object.
  I have never used the foliage system, but if the actor has Location and Rotation, the tool can handle it.

  how does it, work, do the objects need to already be imported to udk from the content browser, or it just grabs them from max it's self.

  The object must exist in unreal. As you can see in the video, the step one is getting the object's data in unreal. So I can handle that data later in 3ds.

  so did you just export all your scene's meshes as a single monolithic .FBX to have 3ds max match it?
