It's been a while(UDK)

So I took a really long break from UDK. (Last time I used it was around the June update) I come back to downloaded the September update and...wtf. Whenever I click play in editor threes no weapon, and the camera seems zoomed in. The sound doesn't work. Is there anything else major I should know about?

but how do i switch back to being able to see me weapon and hear my footsteps. either that or fix the camera zoom.

There is an option to change the game type which allows you to switch it back.

I looked for it, and in World Properties - PIE game type, you can set this to the type of game you want. For me even by default, it used the UTDeathmatch game type (although that was by right clicking and using "play from here").

thank u cow. just one more thing. i noticed that Dominant Directional Lights dont show proper shadows on the gun for example. how is that fixed? or is that an issue?
