I'll be honest with you guys, I lurk these forums like crazy but I'm so intimidated that I have posted precisely once. However, my
friend told me that I should post this today, so um. Here I am!
I'm looking for any last-minute critique before I send this. I'm at 2996 triangles and precisely two 1024x1024 materials, divided up all over the place.

Personally, I'm not impressed by the spec map I threw on the windows. It looks awesome when I render it in UDK, but in Max it just makes the windows look all frosty. What do you guys think? What can I fix?

Good luck on your entry!
The problem with your 3DS render is that the glass has nothing to reflect but that white void. Adding an environmental map would fix it. Glass of that period would also have small ripples and imperfections. Adding some of those to the spec map would break that reflection up a bit too.
Great work though! I'm loving the plant life.
General feel from everyone is to change the windows though, so they are getting changed!! What do you guys think about the wall? I added a top edge to it through texture instead of geometry and I alternate between really liking it and being very frustrated with it.
Sort of got Xoliul working. The install doesn't work for some reason (... probably my own fault, I've never installed a viewport shader before) but I just navigated to where I saved it and applied it anyway. The only downside is that I can't add in my shadow maps (the same problem I'm having with UDK) but these look pretty damn good for viewport screenshots, I think.
Fixed the window spec, I'm also lightening a shadow on one of the windowpanes.
