Hi all!
Here's a personal project I worked on recently, is a character from a popular fighting game, The King of Fighters.
The goal was to create a figure for 3D printing, but when I finished the hi-poly sculpt I found out that the website I wanted to use (ownage.com) is gone! :poly127:
So I decided to take my hi-poly model and make a low-poly version, just for fun!
I hope you like it, thanks for watching!
This is great. Good work. Check out Protodemon, a company that does some very quality prints. They have printed for some big name artists, and are nice guys. I know the owners. :P
Cheers
Thank you! Can you give me the direct link to Protodemon? Google finds it but the url seems broken:(
Very cool that you're going for a realistic take on her, although the face still looks a little off. I think it's mainly in the eyes, they're still kinda glassy end expressionless. But eyes are super tricky to nail especially on realistic models so I don't really have any clear feedback on what you need to do. Something to be aware of anyway.
Ah ha, the reason their site is down is because they started a new company... Focusing on a few different things. Same guys, but new name: http://www.pinchbot.com/contact
Hope that helps.
Thanks for the link, but yeah, apparently they changed business now, so I really don't know where to go for a hi-quality printing. I know there are many online services, but they look kinda rough for my taste...
