Unwrapping difficulties in Photoshop

Hey all, after doing many unwraps for models, I have found myself always having black dots (default unwrap colour for background) on the final image which I need to remove manually, but as this makes the overall unwrap look untidy I was wondering what i'm doing wrong when rendering out the template or are there any good tutorials such as using Masks or other tools in photoshop. (im using 3ds Max)

maybe you could describe your workflow 1, 2, 3, etc steps
and we could see how you're coming about into those dots appearing

Did you try turning off Global Super Sampling in the Render Setup dialog(9). If its already off try turning it on. I remember it caused issues in older version of max when using render to texture.
