I dont post here super often but i'm always reading thru threads and stuff. I just updated my port with a bunch of new work, and also switched to a flexible width layout, check out some of the new work here:

Great stuff man
I love all of the little details you added, paint, scratches, additional materials. Also really respect the restraint of color and noise! Dig the varying levels of noise in specular on the metals too, to define surfaces more. When coupled with the diffuses, you get a really cool feel to the guns.

Try and get the same images but with different guns for all your weapon shots. Try and get everything to match.
Alan, I noticed you are doing that on all the guns where you show a high-poly. Is that to differentiate the guns with height-map normals from the full bakes? I don't think that's really necessary since I am having a hard time telling which have height map normals.
Lol the mountain and water is just a map it's spawned in from udk, didn't think it was that big of a deal.
I have way too much stuff to go and take consistent shots of every single asset, I agree about showing the hp on some and not on others, yea I could just show 1 high poly shot of the ak instead.. And yea I gotta retake the shot of the sv45 without the grid.
Why not show your textures? Dosn't make any sense cause that's what you did on all those guns. I would love to see them!
Could you tell us a little about how you made those terrain textures. Looks ace!
I'd also like to see your textures as well if possible..

Do you do a lot of layering of full images?
or do you try to create brushes that simulate the wear realistically?
Ya the wear is mostly brush work mixed with photos, I keep the more localized stuff hand painted since its a hard thing to photo source. In the end i try to get the benefits of photos and hand painting.
I'll try to get some flats up on this thread.. Some of these are pretty old though so I'll try to post a few flats of newer work..

Which rods are you talking about? If its the glow sticks, well those are 100% emmissive in game.
Yea, well the van was a bit of a weird asset, it was meant to rarely ever be seen from the outside, so the outside is kinda low poly, I'm pretty happy with how it all came out personally, homefront's specs were pretty damn low in some areas so that was part of the direction on that asset. And the shots I took of it are kinda crappy since they are all aliased pretty bad..
I'm still kinda confused by what you mean by "3 pictures" ? You went to my site right? There are more shots on my site then just the 3 in this post..
