I'm thinking about starting a blog. I'm just curious to see who here has a blog. And does anyone follow certain blogs?

Gotta try to keep personal stuff and work separate. Personally I cannot stand "CG" blogs where you have to wade thru tons of posts like "football team X is awesome", "I had great spaghetti yesterday", "my car broke down" to find the hidden gems that matter to other CG artists inbetween them.
I think having a strong internet presence is really important in this day and age. Blogs are a great way to get your name out there, they're very personal, and they seem to attract a little more professionalism than, say, deviantart. (nothing against deviantart, it's just something I've noticed.)
and I follow tons of blogs, it's the best way that I keep up with art outside of polycount. use a reader like google reader and subscribe to feeds!

Not bad. One thing that I'd recommend is to reduce the amount of stuff you have on your header. I'm on a pretty big monitor and I still had to scroll down a good bit just before I could see the rest of your first image.

I try to post project breakdowns, tips, tutorials, etc. Things that are relevant to getting a job or doing environment art but maybe don't have a place in my portfolio space. I try to post once a month or so.
