Yes, there is some dialogue in the beginning (cinematic), but mostly text. The story is also very good. I can't say much though since I'm only level 9 and haven't got to see most of the content yet.
It not a typical MMO game, it's unique and VERY fun.
And yeah they're adding some new events, a football one cause of the games going on over here, and also a new dungeon. The server should be up soon, maybe a couple more hours.
