the freelance work i do do is always taken up a notch when my wife decides to go out for the night, the client decides they want to skype, and my son decides that i'm not allowed to skype while mommy is out.
One of my coworkers worked from home. Occasionally he would say "oh man its storming really bad here, I think I'm going to lose power" and then immediately sign off of skype. Of course we would check the weather and there was no storms where he was. Then we would see his facebook activity rise, and notice that he had been playing red dead all day on xbox live. Haha.
Unfortunately for him, this story is all in the past tense for a reason.
Funny Comic, A lot of people I work with are remote and this stuff hits home. Good stuff!
Hahahaha, 2 years ago our office was being remodeled and then a huge snow storm hit and we all worked from home for about a month. Its scary how accurate that is...
You could also replace "work at home" with "CG Art Contest" and it holds true too.

"Lack of employee banter" you compensate for in mp game chats with other work-at-homers.
You mow the lawn post lunch time middle of the week and say hi to the cute moms walking their kids & dogs.
