Raven Layoffs

Sorry for creating another thread on the topic, I just feel the need to make it specifically known that Raven did layoff maybe 40(?) people today.

Really sucks, this is the second round of layoffs in a little more than a year. Hard to see friends go out that way.

With that said I'd like to confirm that we had to let go of some awesome talent, so if your company sees any apps from newly ex-Raven employees - they're definitely worth looking into. Some top talent out there now.

Such a bummer. Some of the layoff decisions boggle the mind. I hope everybody finds a new gig soon!

It was a very emotional, frustrating and sad day. I dropped by the bar to see some of my ex-colleagues. Hope those that got cut move on to greener pastures and don't get to down.

Justin was miffed I wasn't there earlier holding a beer for him.

props for keeping everyone employed for as long as they did. Although for a company as large as raven, and with all their credibility in mind, management there should have had backup projects on the line eons ago. Watching them put all their eggs in that basket the way they did shows the respect they have for their employees and their families alike.
