Bit late but I had my degree show and the end of all my uni work to do but now with all this time I have (read: the last week of the contest) I'm gonna get all of my models done and submitted in the next 7 days.
I'm going to be working on the Scout along with the theme of Baseball.

Anyway, love the theme!
It obscures Scout's head way too much, and would be a game-breaking advantage against Snipers for people who had this hat.
Valve also tend to dislike hats that cover the characters faces, the Hotrod is a rare exception and you should not count on receiving the same benefits when you submit your model :O

I'm not doing any animations, I'm only a modeller and I joined this contest really late so I don't think i have enough time to learn how and then do it
Im not sure, but maybe Sparkwire could help? He's been doing animations for a bunch of packs. Idk if hes too busy with his, though.
Ha don't worry. I've got it covered. Today for unwrapping and base textures, then just finish stuff off until sunday midnight. Sorted
To be honest the Scout puts a sock in the tube and pulls the trigger bit like the flare gun. Doesnt so much need an animation. And the glove just whacks things
Of course it could be relegated to melee.
Lowered the specular on the bars as they were too bright too
