Yeah, so I started making this character. I drew out a concept but I think I wont stick to them proportions and stuff. I've started the face so far.
The idea of him is supposed to be like an island/tribe/orphan kinda thing. And I want to keep the eyes round and buggy lol...
So anyway, this thread is to show my progress. Crits are appreciated

I know you said you probably won't keep the proportions from the concept, but personally, I like the proportions in the concept more than in the model. Most notably the broader chest and shoulders. Looking good otherwise.
Shad0wForce: I plan to extract them and sculpt them as separate piece, so yeah.. your right

Hey, I done a load more... I am not too sure about the back though. I couldn't find any reference of how I wanted it, so some of it is an (educated) guess, lol.
I still gotta do hands, feet, shorts, headband and hair, but anyway, check it out

those are just placeholders atm though
and in case your wondering.. the nails are separate, as I couldn't get enough subdivisions to sculpt them nicely)
