I'm not gonna lie..I was expecting the last Ubisoft game to be something new or..ridiculous..but.. But Michael Jackson? Man. I dunno. Overall kinda underwhelmed by the entire event.
Hahaha, seems developers who care about gaming are in hot demand these days. WTF happened in this E3? Feels like the beggining of the end of gaming right now. I don't even see this other fluff stuff being profitable.
Micheal Jackson game could be good though, Ubisoft does pretty well and the old Michael games were great!
EA was probably the best one today, Microsoft started out ok, then they spent 2 hours talking about kinect and i was a bit with how little time they spent announcing the new xbox, they spent literally 2 minutes on it :P
Hope valve has some sort of presence soon:poly121:
Well, can't say I was blown away by this. Future Soldier looked good, but since the AI seem oblivious to footsteps as they are in most games, I'm wondering how challenging it'll be, what with optic camouflage and global satellite recon data. The cover-to-cover combat looked nifty - at least maybe this time it won't be instant game over from a single mystery headshot from an unseen militant like the other games.
But Innergy? Battle Tag? WTF?
Dust looked promising, and I was stoked about Driver:SF until the whole coma-shifting-cars-it's-all-a-dream business - what's that about? There would have been absolutely nothing wrong with a straight-up reworking of the first game.
A lot of their displays just felt really gimmicky, and that's not even counting the fitness software (which, again, I actually thought looked kinda cool).
Yea, totally agree on driver. I loved the first game to death, but switching cars? That's... that's not even right. I'd rather play as that jericho dude as some ghost kept trying to get people to crash their cars into me. Now THAT seems like a challenge. As it is, how are you not invincible? Where's the tension that comes with being afraid of dying?

I just remember the hubcaps falling off in the first one.
