In case you haven't heard " How to destroy angels" is Trent Reznor's new project with his wife Mariqueen.
They added their first track yesterday on their website http://howtodestroyangels.com/home.html

Now, my opinion on this.
I am EXTREMELY glad he didn't stop making music. With that been said, i do like his voice more than hers, but if it were his voice it would be just NIN renamed.
Don't get me wrong i like the song , ALOT. You can smell the "reznor" in it, but i can't say i really like Mariqueen, as a singer or a .... person. (she is hot though)

Funny thing, the part around 2.30 sounds like Revolution 9 and his new wife looks quite a lot like Yoko Ono. He doesn't really have a band though, so he's safe.
Coil feature on the remix album "Further down the Spiral" so Reznor must be aware of them (and has probably been influenced by them in some way) - nice little reference - I hope the people associated with Coil get something back from this somehow

I didn't say there's something wrong with her voice. I like it as well. I just like his voice more.
The problem with Mariqueen ( love saying that name) is that she seems like a shallow hot chick , and the lyrics just feel right in her mouth...

So far I've really enjoyed all the 40 second clips. They remind me of Ghosts I-IV with a tiny bit of The Fragile mixed in. I'm not quite sure about A Drowning yet though. I love most of the instrumentation on it but I'm not a huge fan of Mariqueen's vocals/lyrics so far. I'm sure her voice will grow on me as I listen to it more though.
Hopefully by Summer Release they mean late May/June. I doubt it's going to be later than late June because they've already released 4 teasers and one song out of a 6 song EP.
I'm glad Trent isn't planning to stop making music anytime soon, and I'm still waiting on an album that would tie in well with the perfect drug.
Ghosts was alright, IMO, but eh.
IMO the fragile was still my favorite album, with broken and pretty hate machine close second.

True , but according to this, she seems rather shallow... or maybe i'm just jealous :P [ame]
I've always been a huge fan of his. It's just even cooler that were related through the family tree.

Like it ALOT . It's way better than the first. And the first is quite good ... :P
way too breathy, no emotion, flat, all over the place rather than being solid toned.
trent's wife's hot but... ritchie blackmore's wife's hotter and sings much better.
There's no physical copy yet but it's being released in July along with a Vinyl version sometime.
