3Ds Max, Ohio locations?

Does anyone know of any schools in Ohio that teach 3Ds Max?

I'm an undergraduate at Ohio State, Major is Industrial Design with a minor in Studio Art. I'm new to this forum and interested in becoming a game artist/concept artist.

Does anyone have professional advice for me as to if I can get my foot in the door with this degree? Is a graduate Degree in 3d modeling a prerequisite for such a job?

I'm sure you could find enough resources on the web to learn Max. Polycount is a good resource...and there are about a gajillion tutorials ranging from beginner to advanced out there

If you really want a classroom environment contact Autodesk, I'm sure they have a list of some sort.

I have some good resources for tutorials, it's more a matter of having the software on my cpu to use. Suggestions on best way to acquire it? (purchase, download, etc...)

You can download a trial from the Autodesk website, you can buy a copy, and you also may be able to get a deal on a "student" version, i seem to remember a thread recently about highly discounted student versions, possibly even free?

Do not bother discussing how to obtain it illegally, as it will quickly result in a ban.
