Hi everyone,
I am currently developiong a multi player, 3d space shooter in flash, a dev video can be found here: [ame]

I have created a sky box that I am happy with, I replaced a test one but discovered that it was much more realistic looking than my original one i'd sourced.
I have a low poly ship that I modeled in blender and now that the sky box is updated I would like to improve the textures and/or ship design to better suit the new environment. Anyway, I was wondering if there are any good low poly tutorials that outline the concept of texturing very low poly ships to make them look realistic. The ship is the one the video passes at 0:48 - 0:53.
You can also see a render of the low poly ship at one of my blog posts:

My aim is to make it look much more realistic against the higher quality sky box.
Many thanks

I'm sure that there must at least be tutorials on low poly texturing in Photoshop somewhere? My textures look kinda poor quality in that the detail is being softend even on a 512x512 texture and the edge look dirty, pixelated and glitchy as if not filled in properly.
Any help with this would be cool, even if it's just about the textures and not even about texturing ships.
Many thanks

where he is using bodypaint and PS to texture a low poly gun and a little after there is one on how to texture low poly characters. This is all I can think of now... I hope it helps.
