I'm grabbing the 2011 Maya build, I'd like to see how t runs on my Mac so that I don't have to boot into Windows, use virtualisation or use my slower Windows PC to run Max.
I am kind of surprised to see that Max still appears to have a larger market share according to this poll. So many studios have been switching to Maya lately.
I was a max user originally but now have found a comfy home with Maya

runs nicey nicey on mine, although fucking hate that theyve swapped the old thing for the max veiwcube BOOO
Maya for 99% modeling. Sometimes I jump into XSI for some models just to re-familiarize myself with it (I used it for almost two semesters a few years ago at college/uni). I really liked it and I'm planning to get more models from it here and there.
Zbrush for sculpts when I do them...still learning that one.
Hmm... I hope Autodesk doesn't see this. With Zbrush used almost as much as 3dmax, and Mudbox far behind. They might try to pull another Maya/XSI move...
