I think there should be a organized tutorial thread.
Especially for the people who take the time and make these tutorials.
I know it seems sort of silly because you just need to look for em. but I would like a organized place to view Tutorials and something I know that is dedicated to tutorials.
So maybe something to the effect of
Tutorials
Forum
- 2D Tutorials
- 3D Tutorials
- UDK Tutorials
- Steam Tutorials
I think this would be a good idea and you can easily check out who posted the last kick ass tutorial. It also keeps things a little more organized in case you really want to go back to a tutorial.
I personally think this is a pretty good idea.
Hands up if you agree.

If you find a tutorial that is worth sharing then suggest it to EricChadwick
Or gather a list of tutorials and edit your thread with a bunch of links organized in a logical way.
Here, I'll help you start:
Modelling
Rocks:
Stone Tutorial by Pedro Amorim
Procedural Stone in 3D Max by Sascha Henrichs
Generic Rock Wall by Bram Eulaers
Trees:
Tree Creation using particle generator in 3d max
Trees using Shag Fur
If everyone adds in a couple of links then it could easily build up to a decent collection, just need some guy bothered enough to keep it all tidy (not me).
but I guess my idea is just this but on the forums.
either way looks like I got what I wanted from life.
bookmarked
and thumbs up. thanks.

Didn't add the Shag:Fur one, the result is not usable in a game.
If you have more suggestions, lemme know.
Vito's the admin, he decides who can edit, not me. Several polycount members have edit rights, but none of them seem to use it, so it's been just me lately.
I've advocated for opening it up to all, but the spam filtering isn't good enough to avoid the spam shitstorm that happened last time it was opened up. That's why Vito's kept it closed.
If they get around to upgrading the wiki software, then we could use a captcha and some other stuff. But that has to wait until they move to the new server, and I'm not privy to when that's gonna happen.
Edit... I'm just an editor, not an admin.
At least that's how I remember it.
