So I thought this deserved it's own thread at this point so here is how it's coming along so far.
I still haven't resolved whether to give him the iconic umbrella or give him a less of a fantastical weapon in form of a snub revolver in true gangster fashion ..
According to DC comics, Oswald is taught in some significant form of martial arts and can hold his own against batman. In my admission, I am not a comic book follower so I cant vouch for his fighting prowess.
I tried to give him a bit of a heavy physique but without making him feel way too obese while maintaining his somewhat short stature.
The web is full of references and all of them are slightly different so consider it just my interpretation inspired by the darker comic book penguin with a pinch of Danny DeVito

ps: the lips look strange on closeup but fine at lesser magnifications.
The idea that he can hold his against batman as a marital artist is interesting.
It might be interesting to think about what makes penguins gross. I know everytime I see them at an indoor exibit at a zoo they smell like shit. how closely the word fowl is to foul cant be a coincidence.
I don`t know if you watch cowboy bebop- but there was a particular episode that had an awesome penguin like character

It looks like he put a penny in his eye. The monocle is one of the strong features of the penguinnnnnnno besides his hooked nose.
Not sure why I said Alfred Hitchcock when he looks alot more like Patrick Moore.
Are you tackling the hands next or will he be wearing gloves?

Only think I have to crit is the size of his gut. With respect to the size of his face, his gut is slightly lacking. I would give it some more bulge.
