I have a preorder in play.com, 24 euro! and like i'm a fan of AVP, this one is a must buy for me (the first avp for pc was from rebellion and it was fantastic on its days).
As much as I hate our stupid archaic censorship laws I'd respect them a hell of a lot more if they actually stood by there beliefs... Its like they consulted a magic frikkin 8 ball. :P
Aside from me wishing somebody would code in specularPower and specularScale into the shaders so certain things don't look like they are made of jelly (Preds flesh, for one), the game looks awesome and will be a day one purchase for me defo. If they can beat AvP 1's atmosphere but AvP 2's gameplay then its gonna rock.
im almost more excited for this than ME2. looks really slick and top notch production values. the multiplayer sounds awesome and every preview ive read said its really solid. heres to hoping for greatness!

Just a little bit worried about this since Rebellion really screwed up with Rogue Warrior...
the predator gameplay looked stupid, the whole put your cursor on branch, and jump to branch (was very arkham-asylum-hookshot'ish), and where did the whole jump super high thing come from? what movie was that in. Yeah they get up on branches (which somehow support their weight) and trees, but, HOW.
also, why is it also plural vs. singular. Am i the only one bugged by that. pun intended.

Sorry i didnt know you owned the AVP IP, it was really just curiosity. Not a criticism. And for the record i recently switched from a natural keyboard to a normal.

Maybe because it's generally accepted that the aliens are at there best when they work together as an unstopable swarming plague whereas the predators are solo ass whooping machines?

Actually I always thought they used "aliens" vs predator simply becuase it was taken from the "aliens 2" timeline and mythos. All the designs, settings and atmosphere were taken from the second movie.
Plus as was said having "Alien" means singular, which isnt the case at all.

It should be much more fun using the mouse though.
