As mentioned in this thread: http://boards.polycount.net/showthread.php?t=68683
You might need a bigger PSU.
Your mobo only supports 2 sticks of RAM, so upgradability on this puppy is poor, you'll be stuck at 4GB.
The parts these places normally use are not of quality, and Im surprised to even see them listing the mobo. They buy value parts, and cobble together a cheap computer. You get amazing specs for a crazy cheap price, but they're also not winning any speed records...
Good specs does not equal high speed.
Its true you won't be able to build this machine for this price pretty much anywhere else you go. A machine built with quality parts of the same specifications will be more expensive, and not only last longer, but perform better.
We're going Athlon 2 Quad core so he should edit that top part.
Well, we're getting it today so we're going to have to make quick changes.
that'd be nice. Lol. (Yeah right)

Well, if DDR2 2x4gb is hard to come by I imagine DDR3 doesn't really exist?

I realised I bought the GTX 260 lesser core (196 or something - not the 216)
Is that still better than the GTS 250? Please god ;P
But yeah, I take it it's not so good? Hey..well, I'm going to sell my current PC anyways. My mate has the same one too and hopefully can sell for a bit of monies to buy a gtx 260 core 216 or better.
