I cant believe this but I was nominated for the autodesk masters award for 3ds Max!!! Id love it if some of you would log into the area and give me a 5 star vote!
Congratulations Riki! your tutorials have helped us all! i havent looked at all the masters yet, because its probably best to vote for the best rather than the most helpful, haha... anyway good luck
Man you guys ROCK! THanks for the comments and votes.
What gets me is their instructions say:
When you've made your choice, vote for one nominee.
You can vote once only.
Yet the only voting option is stars on a per nominee level. I think their instructions must be old or something. I dont see any place to vote for a single nominee.:poly141:

i'm sure they'll have a service pack out for the voting system soon enough.
You worked on Kohan II? Haha, I've been playing that lately!
Yeah that was one of the best learning experiences coming straight from school and working on a real game. Also we used to have hours of fun testing that game at the end. There was also something in the game added that if you had the crack version your guys would tear down your own buildings after a while, but Im sure that has been circumvented a loong time ago.
I would have given you 7 if we had a UDK lighting video
haha! Actually Jim Magill just handed in like an hour worth of captures for lightmass in UDK, I need to go through it all and see what we can do with it but from what Ive seen its really good stuff. Jim is the lighting guy at SOE and a long time friend. Here is a wip of his scene he created for it:

I remember seeing that piece in the P&P forum, and thinking 'man, it'd be awesome to see how they achieved the lighting in this piece'!
That would be a must-have, instant purchase for me and I'm sure many others - can't wait to see what you guys come up with.

You deserve it.
They'll keep the old voting system to confuse people, but they'll have a new one called Turbovote.
5 STARS!
