looks nice! a wireframe would be good for crits. (though I probably wouldn't be able to give crits myself, I hate hands XD)

At first look it's ok, but :
1) The fingers are thin
2) They looks like a tapered cylinders, take a close look to the joins areas, download theanatomy pics from the net, i'm sure, you'll notice and will correct your mistakes.

Just thought I'd hop in and add that they look very shiny, even for a bright environment. You might want to lower the specular.

I suggest rigging up the fingers and see how they bend I'm pretty positive you'll have trouble making a fist, the first knuckles are too far apart and like other people have mentioned the fingers are thin.

The spec is also pretty shinny like some kind of plastic.
The flesh tone is a little undead.
The vein on the back of the hand kind of flattens out pretty big.

Over all, off to a great start a few changes and you're doing awesome.
