This is a model that I'm calling quits on and punting towards being finished. The rear needs some more loving, while the last set of details needs to be fleshed out. Began before I punched Maya in the balls (sat as a WIP for a while, then dug it out), then pulled into Blender to fix the bugger and finished the majority of details
And the fun part is moving towards texturing this turkey, something that I've put off for too long. Fun part is I'm going to try using the GIMP.
This model is being released to the FS2 community because I grew up blasting Kilrathi and Shivans to kingdom come, so I figured time to give back.
I'm really liking this so far. I applaud you for using an open source pipeline (I'm actually attempting the same thing). Like I said, it's looking good so far. Once you post some more images of texturing, it will be easier to critique.
