Hello! I'm Joe, modeler and texture artist. I recently moved to Toronto and I'm pretty stoked to attend life drawing here. Figured this'd be a good place to post drawings and WIP 3D projects. C&C is welcome.
Gestures are 2 minutes, studies are half hour poses.

That knight sure looks promising, specially when looking at the whole figure. Will you finish all of him? My only concern right now though is the resolution of the symbol on the chest. After his face, that symbol is the next thing my eyes are drawn to so it needs to be a lot crisper. I like the bluish tones you got going on him as well. With the symbol it gives the impression that he comes from a sea town.
AimBiZ: Thanks for the observations! I'm just doing the bust for now, it was more of a study than a finished character. Yeah, the symbol was an afterthought and it shows, not enough texture rez there.
Here's a turntable of him:

A couple of screenshots of a WIP environment: A Thief-GameofThrones mashup: Still a lot more to do here, several props and two characters.
This sir is badass. Do you mind if we could get a glimpse of your textures? They are gorgeous on this piece. All of ur pieces in general are as a matter of fact Great Job!
Good job man, I like the weapons btw, if you can pose them nicely, they will be pretty sweet. Maybe have the dagger stabbed into the table at like an angle? thatd be cool, itd add to the story of the scene.
WOrking on a texture breakdown too. Thanks for the crits, keep them coming.
Second Add3r about the wood. Age lines would really do a lot. I suppose the small table is only half way through as the planks are floating? Will there be a reason for having those nails at the ends? Just doesn't seem logical to have them that far out.
Took a break and started on the character for the set.
Then took a break from him and started worked on this girl, based on a Jason Chan concept. Just a basic rough sculpt so far.
mariomanzanares: The Knight's modelled in XSI, sculpted in ZBrush. I tend to sculpt as much as I can and retopologise later. Yeah, it can get a bit tedious.

Amazing how much taking a picture of your work can reveal errors. Man, the face on the red paper...
Week 10:
Sorry about the graininess, my camera isn't that great.

silver_hoodlum: Nothing fancy there mate, normal maps from ZBrush and more details added in NDo2.
Couple of updates on the character:
As for the new girl, you're very good with modelling armor but need to practice your faces. For crits on that; her lips look pasted on. They sides should blend in with the face more. How does she look without the lipstick?
Also the nostrils are connecting with the face a bit strangely so check that up.
Her palms looks quite thick as well I just noticed.
Stuff's going in the right direction though. Are these armored characters related to each other?
