I am currently a third year at uni going into my 4th, this is my first portfolio piece that im working on and any feed back would be awesome. I haven't baked the wheels down yet so its currently sitting at 117,000 tri's, while im looking to get it down to about 45k as the wheels unbaked on there own are sitting at 73k.
One part of the car that i am not pleased with is there supports that hold the spoilers to the car, i think there to high poly and quite frankly dont look as good as they should
any criticisms would be awesome, thanks in advance
thanks, matt

Anyway any advice you can give about improving this would be awesome, about the geometry, shape of the car etc.
befor you get bogged down in detail in the diffuse map get a bocked in spec and/or gloss map and define the different types of metal you may find you dont need to add too much more to the diffuse
Just started working on my specular map so still early days. but just a little update
Some feedback. Tires look a bit to grunged up. Both in normals and diffuse. Smooth those out and keep them looking pretty slick.
Im not sure you can get away with just a simple diffuse, spec, normal here, but you can try.
As mentioned above, the car is very monotone and will require a nice gloss/metal material to it, to really make it pop. If you are going for a `metal` look for the car's armor. I would focus on bringing out the edge highlights, especially in the spec.
