Hey guys
Been working on a little game for a some months with the other guys here at SYBO Games - and we just released it yesterday.
We loved some of the new endless runners and wanted to give our spin to the genre and basically make the whole thing more charming.
Basically, I did all the in-game graphics and just wanted to share some stuff. Obviously, graphical feedback can't really be implemented anymore but I will take it with me on our next project.
Here's a trailer we made during a few late nights:

These are the characters you can unlock - more will come with future updates. All characters run on the same rig, so the proportions were kindof set in stone.
The invironment was modelled liniar and then bended in game by a vertex shader that our programmer(Peter Bruun-Rasmussen) made. The entire environment used 1 1024 map and 1 512 map.
The game was made in unity and with Kiloo Games.
Oh, and the game is free. Go grab it on the appstore:

If it's free why limit to the i-phone? I'd like to play it as a standalone or web browser. Easy enough to do with unity, just push that button and allow all us non-i's to have a go.
The game is really picking up now it seems. We have 500k downloads yesterday alone - if it continues, there is definately gonna be a bunch of updates and an android version.
Didn't know this was done in Unity. Any chance that you can share some of the environment wireframes/textures in here ?
And/or some information on the lighting setup within unity ?
Anything technical that I can soak up like a sponge ?
I really like the colours of the game, and the animations are really smooth too.
Great stuff, thanks for stealing my time with your game
+1, looks ace
I've been playing a lot of Sonic 2 lately - it's like you took the bonus levels and made a whole game out of it. Nice!
who was the concept artist ? really cool design and style !
You guys could make a fruck-ton of money off of this!
Great job!
And maybe if you or any of the guys in the forum could point me in the right direction on using Textures (as you said that the whole world used a 1024 texture) If I'm using several objects and 4 Atlases for all of them is recommended to use a 256 to 512 size for every texture, or should I make a big atlas out of the 4 textures?? If so, how could I achieve this on a easy way?
Thanks and keep the good work!!
i love the animations in the trailer
the characters are really well done
ps.: the music is so catchy
300 more spaceship toys till I get yutani..........*twitch*...
I love the low poly stuff, in school I've been having to do only high poly zbrush stuff but I love the painterly low poly assets more...
