Hello everyone! I am fully aware that is is most likely an extremely simple, beginner question.. But hey, everyone has to learn.
I have been wanting to import models into UDK and have been experimenting with file formats, etc. If I import into UDK as a .FBX it goes into the engine like this(See pictures).
Now I wanted to know, is this bad? Once I add diffuse, and maps will it go away? Is this a problem with the lighting in the scene that is causing all of the tris to show up like this? I am assuming you want the whole object to have the white and blue checkered pattern on it, not this dark color showing tris. Thanks for help you guys!
