I really wanted to like this game, but the camera and some of the gameplay killed it for me. I can completely agree on the art side of things, this game just looked amazing. I was disappointed I didn't get to see more of it, as the issues that stuck out for me caused me to stop playing.
The last rumor I heard was that the handheld title, while being a sequel, is still going to set up a console sequel. Suppose we'll find out soon enough
Interesting - judging from this trailer it feels like the overall storytelling style is shifting to something ... more "mainstream game-esque" maybe ? I just started to play LOS this week and it has a great indie flick feel to it, very restrained but all the more powerful by contrast. I hope this one will be able to maintain that ...
Anyways, very curious about the sequel. I hope they'll adress the problems of the first one... They could even change the formula quite drastically, there's always room to improve !
Damn, I'm honestly excited. I really liked the first one, despite some of the gameplay problems it had. If they can get a better camera in there and perhaps add some more RPG elements then I'm totally sold. LOS was an extremely underrated game, but if they do improve upon it things can only get better However, I'm also with Pior and I hope it does maintain a more low key vibe. Though we'll probably need to wait for the gameplay trailer to see what it's really like.
Also, Oscar Araujo is back so the game is bound to have an amazing soundtrack.
Oh man I'm playing this right now and it's sheer beauty.
It's easy to make comparisons to the likes of God of War but there are many subtle differences. However the one thing I liked in GoW that I wish was in this is how GoW massive beautiful environments were dynamic with involving puzzles and ingenius forms of backtracking.

Apparently so.
What the hell is with so many titles leaking pre-E3? There'll be nothing left to be excited about
EDIT: Haha bones beat me to it.
RESTORED!!!
So wait? MercurySteam is tackling a 3DS CS title AND a direct sequal to LoS at the same time?
