Perhaps you could post up some wires shots.
Also, why did Esther just copy paste my post?
It's a bot.
As you can see, in this image the blade is in the shape of Number '2'
My attempt of the model is in the shape of number '1'
i hope that makes sence can someone help me get my attempt of the model to shape number '1'
try posting more than just 'well' haha it doesnt help with anything
Do you want the side of the blad to be flat like it is, or to curve around?
ARTIFACTING
Seriously, save your images at a higher quality, I didn't even know those red things were numbers...they are numbers, right?
Basically what you need to do (if I'm understanding the picture correctly) is take out all those middle faces and have it so there's one edge loop around the middle.
I hope that helps, if not, try drawing what the topology of the sword would look like in photoshop first
Edit: Just saw your username. Not sure if trolling.
just flat will be fine
here is a wireframe image:
and for Selaznog, i didnt quite understand what you meant could u possibly show with some images if u have spare time? thanks heaps btw
Edit 2: Im using a simple plane to get the shape of the blade, should i be using a box so it allows me to play around with the middle?
Unrelated, but out of curiosity, are you self taught?
