Heyy guys Im new to Polycount and want to share my current private project with you. Its based of an artwork from the Bioshock art book.
Any crits are welcome ... Ok I dont know how to upload images I just can add URLs...
The thing that comes out to me at first is the scaling issue. Before bringing environment assets make sure you have the blocking right. The concept is way more open, yours is very very confined. For exemple the width of the cage/box is around half the width of the pool in your scene, and in the concept the pool has almost 4 times the width.
Thank you for the quick comments @theslingshot: You are totally right the size doesnt really match the concept ... but I wanted this more confined feel ... it should feel like a basement where diver and fisher can enter the sea... A big hall like room didnt fit imo.
@RichardSmith: the water might get realtime reflections thats something Ill add later (right now the water got a simple sky environment map) ...for the next days I plan to texture the scene and evaluate what props might be needed or replaced.
