Silo's selection in 3dsmax

Hey there. Is it possible in 3ds max to simulate the Silo's multiple (paint-like) selection. May be there's a script for this? Here's what I mean:

p.s. Why there're polycount.com and dev.polycount.com? What's the difference?

Broken link. There is paint selection for faces and a soft select paint option inside of the edit poly modifier but they don't work quite the same as silo's, they have to be toggled on and off, which can be done through shortcuts to make it a little easier to use...

Paint selection is found in the drop down for the selection tool method (a icon that looks like a dotted box) change it to a spray can.

Paint soft selection can be found in the soft selection rollout in the edit poly modifier.

This is exactly what I was looking for!Thanks alot.I changed the brush size to 1 and binded Select Object on a shortcut,much better.
