Hi everyone, this is my first post on polycount, this is my second level in the making for school. Please give any and all feedback. This is Ms office in MI6 from Quatum of Solace. I set up the room as much as i could then started modeling objects and placing them for dimensions. Please give me any feedback. all is appreciated. Cheers.
Here is a quick up date from lasy night. I fixed the wall material and added the second shelve behind the desk. I built the walls and floor out of BSP, i figured since it was such a basic shape that it would be ok just incase i need to resize it on the fly. Please let me know what you think, Cheers.
Here's a small update. I havent worked on it in awhile but I did alittle work on it. I still need to texture everthing. Please let me know what you think, Cheers.
I spent a little bit too long looking at your reference images amazed at the amount of detail you'd managed to achieve in UDK, before I realised they were photos :P
Hers is another quick update. Started texturing some things. They arent amazing but its so i can start to see how everything is looking. Let me know what you all think. Cheers.
I got the tiles on the floor the way i want them. I couldnt get them to have a super shine like some tiles are but i got it pretty close to the way i liked them. The glass behind the couch is frosted glass with a refraction material on it. I took me awhile to get it right but for some reason its coming out pretty flat on the screenshot but in game its the way its supposed to look compaired to the ref.

Just remember that a scene like this will rely heavily on materials and less so on the modelling.
This thread should help you immeasurably in getting your glass looking realistic
