Hey guys.
For my Key of Ethios project, I wanna have the designs for the environments be completely over-the-top elaborate and/or impossible. Kind of like what they did in Eternal Sonata:
The only roadblock I'm facing is that I'm not really that well-versed in designing environments, which is where using reference comes in, yeah?
Anyone know of any similar environment work I can take a look at?

Rather than looking at other environment work like this (which might be hard to find) maybe draw inspiration from nature or abstract design and art. Like that top image was clearly inspired by a shell, then placed on impossible balance and construction. The bottom is ice, crystals and harps. I tend to look at a piece of graphic design or elements in nature and then start to consider how it could be transferred into an environment.
