My school project, in 5 weeks have to model and uv this guy, concept kindly provided by Elliot Lilly http://www.eliottlillyart.com/, starting block out today. Wish me luck.
There are some areas on your block-out where it appears asymmetrical. From the concept it looks like the left and right sides are mirrors of each other except for a few details (underslung weapon beneath the hand, decal on the clavicle, etc). Your model appears to have the hand on the right side in a different relationship to the gun than with the left (beside and above respectively). In the concept they both appear to be above the guns. Your legs also seem to be different than each other, but in the concept they appear to be perfect reflections of each other.
Well i did finish it in 5 weeks for class, but just didn't have time to post here, dunno why, anyways maybe when I finish school ill have time to texture him...
Vertucio you right, it was my first ever character for games, so i had to learn a lot of stuff along the way, so when i finally got to texturing I realized that i should have probably spared some more polys to break a silhouette more...

Most of those panels you have look painted on, and that's because they are just painted on.
Even if the concept seemed relatively flat, you'll want to push it in 3D, just to avoid that look of details only being painted on.
