I really would like just a hand painted texture sticky for people to go to and learn from. Instead of it being all over.

I think he wants one that is just of Textures. So people just posting texture flats. Just post your textures in your own P&P thread or in the what are you working on thread.

We could add something like this to the wiki very easily, like a maybe a list of cool threads to learn from.

What's wrong with using the WAYWO thread?

If its just of textures won't it be hard to read & tell how good they are without a model? I mean someone could just paint a pretty picture and post it w/o it actually making any practical sense.

I am interessted in finding out more about hand-painting textures though, and it would be cool to see some good examples in one place. Maybe with tips and timelapses too?

What sort of gain do you think we have?

WAYWO sees just enough posts a day to be interesting, and some of that is texture work.
